Thank
you for allowing me to speak with you today. It is my pleasure to
send you these school supplies to help the children in their
educational pursuits. A good education is important in this global
economy. The sooner we can reach the children, the better chance
they will have to succeed as adults. A good education cannot be
taken away from them whereas material possessions can. A quality
education will help them achieve any goal they wish to accomplish.
Growing
up in poverty, I understand how children can lack motivation for
going to school when they are worried about having to choose between
a book bag or breakfast. By providing school supplies it is my
prayer that these children and their family do not have to make this
difficult choice. I am pleased to help out in any way I can and I
hope the school supplies encourage the children to see the
importance of education.
