DPWH-SFDEO kicks off the 2019 infrastructure projects

CALBAYOG CITY – DPWH Samar First District Engineering Office has started the various projects under the General Appropriations Act of 2019 (RA 11260).

Pre-construction meetings were arranged with the assigned project engineers after the Notice to Proceed is awarded to the contractors, to make sure that all will start without any qualms regarding the project. The district is meeting regularly with the contractors to air their issues and concerns so that these can be given immediate resolutions.

DE Alvin Ignacio said, “all contractors should be diligent in undertaking the 2019 projects and to confer immediately with the project engineers if there is any doubt or problem that will arise in the project implementation to avoid delays”.
