1st ESPMFC nabs Eastern Samar’s top 1 most wanted person for rape in La Union

DOLORES, Eastern Samar – In line with its intensified campaign against criminality and the apprehension of wanted persons, the 1st Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st ESPMFC), under the leadership of PMAJ MARVAL S DIAZ, Officer-in-Charge, successfully arrested Eastern Samar’s Top 1 Most Wanted Person for the crime of rape on July 10, 2026, in Brgy. San Marcos, Agoo, La Union. 

The subject, identified only by the alias “John,” is a 64-year-old single driver and a resident of Brgy. Dao, Oras, Eastern Samar.

He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated February 3, 2022, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 5, Oras, Eastern Samar, Eighth Judicial Region, for Rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code (RPC), with no bail recommended.

The successful operation was carried out through the coordinated efforts of the Agoo Municipal Police Station (MPS), Cubao Police Station 7 of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU)-Eastern Samar Police Provincial Office (ESPPO), Oras Municipal Police Station (MPS), and the 801st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8 (801st MC, RMFB).

Upon apprehension, the suspect was properly informed of the nature and cause of his arrest and was apprised of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he fully understood. The entire operation was documented in strict compliance with legal procedures and human rights standards.

The suspect was subsequently brought to the Agoo Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition before being turned over to the jurisdiction of the issuing court.
